A Weekend To Celebrate for R-Series Racing
The Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 proved to be in dominant form last week, taking a sweep of victories in some very difficult conditions across multiple national and European championships. In the British Superbike Championship, 2011 champion Tommy Hill was back on form with new teammate Noriyuki Haga. The Swan Yamaha pair made a clean break in the first Oulton Park race on Sunday with the Yamaha R1; Hill took a decisive victory and the fastest lap of the race with Haga just 1.5 seconds behind for his first ever BSB podium.
