Bradley Cox - New kid on the rocks

Britain's seventeen year old Bradley Cox - Beta is just one of the new faces in the Youth class of the FIM Trial World Championship. During his first full year, the baby faced teenager has certainly made his mark on the series and looks set to finish as runner-up to the pre-season favourite Steven Coquelin - Sherco (who has already clinched the Youth title with counting days to spare) after taking his first ever GP win on the opening day of his home round. Cox made his Trial Grand Prix debut in France during 2011, aged sixteen years and two months. From his initial tenth place finish Cox has worked his way up the order to become a regular podium visitor during the current campaign. His initial rostrum-placing coming at the opening French GP earlier this year. Since then Cox has only missed out on a top three position once, that being on the second day of the Spanish round when he dropped to an uncharacteristic sixth spot in the severe heat. Bradley came close to taking his maiden Grand Prix win in Andorra, as he finished within two marks of Coquelin on the steep and dry sections, but had to wait until home GP to taste the winner's champagne.
