Looking for a novel way to be seen on the road?
A company called Lunasee (<-- silly name, I know) produces a LightCycle-light effect using four high-intensity LEDs placed on either side of both wheels which "excite" the light-emitting material on a strip of tape wrapped around the circumference of your rims.
The system is managed by a .4 amp controller unit that runs off your motorcycle's battery, and this video shows the setup in action.
I'm not sure why the bikes in the video are doing burnouts, but adolescent antics aside, this $200 kit seems like an effective way to add extra visibility during night rides.
